If a PowerupStack instance is missing from the dashboard, first open the Instances page, clear the filters, and click Refresh. If the instance is visible but its files or options are unavailable, check its status and follow the matching action below.
If the instance is not showing in the list
- Clear the Search by name field.
- Set the Game and State filters to All.
- Turn off Only show my instances if another user shared the instance with you.
Click Refresh.

Confirm that you are signed in to the account that owns the instance or accepted the invitation to it.
If the page says Failed to load instances, use its Refresh button. If it continues to fail, sign out and back in before contacting support.
If files or settings say they are unavailable
Some dashboard sections need the instance to be assigned to a server node. The correct action depends on the instance status:

| Instance status | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Created | The instance has not completed its first start. | Start it to assign a node and unlock its files and options. |
| Shelving | Its data is moving from a node into storage. | Wait for shelving to finish. Do not repeatedly refresh or start it. |
| Shelved | Its data is safely stored but no node is assigned. | Start it to assign a node and restore access. |
| Migrating | Its data is moving to another node. | Wait for migration to finish; access returns automatically. |
Shelving and migration can take longer for instances with more data. These states do not mean that the instance files have been deleted. Learn more in Why is my instance shelving?.
If the instance is visible but will not start
- Queued: Follow the instance queue guide. Keep the startup page open while PowerupStack waits for capacity. Closing it may cause a manually started free instance to lose its queue position.
- Pending deletion: Cancel the scheduled deletion from the dashboard before trying to use the instance.
- Disk limit exceeded or startup error: Read the message in the console or startup dialog and address the reported problem before trying again.
When to contact support
Open PowerupStack support if the instance is still missing after clearing filters and checking the account, or if shelving or migration appears stuck. Include:
- The instance name and ID, if available.
- The status displayed in the dashboard.
- A screenshot of the unavailable message.
- The approximate time the problem began.
Never include your password or session token in a support request.
