Flexible and scalable game server hosting
Traditional hosts make you choose one plan for the whole month—often sized for your busiest night. PowerupStack lets compute costs and capacity follow how you actually play.
Stop paying for idle compute
Turn the server off between sessions and compute billing stops. Your files stay ready for next time.
Add power for the big night
Move to more RAM and CPU before a tournament, launch, or community event.
Scale back when demand drops
Return to a smaller plan after the crowd leaves to lower your ongoing compute rate.
Pay for the server you need, when you need it
Traditional monthly hosting
Choose the peak-size plan and keep it for the month.
6 GB peak plan reserved for all 72 hours
The monthly price stays fixed before and after the event.
PowerupStack on demand
Run a smaller plan normally and boost only for the event.

Extra RAM for the event57 of 72 hours have no compute charge
That is 79% of this event weekend without compute charges. Your exact savings in euros depend on the plans you use; storage and optional backups continue while the server is offline.
The tools to run it well.
Scale resources up or down when you need to, with game-specific controls, backups, files, and access in one powerful panel.
Unlimited player slots
We don't impose a player-slot cap. Choose the compute resources your game needs, then set an appropriate slot limit.
Scale up or down anytime
Move to a larger plan for more RAM and CPU during busy weekends or events, then scale back down when demand drops to lower your costs.
Run 24/7
Keep your server online 24/7, or turn it off when no one is playing to save on compute.
PowerupStack Panel
Powerful game-specific tools and tight integrations make everyday server management simple.
Managed backups
Seven daily backups are included and managed for you.
Files and SFTP
Manage files in the panel or connect directly over SFTP.
Team access and audit log
Invite subusers with granular permissions and review important server and account activity.

Straight answers about the free plan, billing, storage, and server locations.
Browse the knowledgebaseIt is a permanent plan, not a trial. Minecraft Java and Bedrock are supported without payment details, and you can upgrade later without rebuilding your world.
Paid compute is charged only while the server is online, measured to the second and never above the monthly cap. Storage continues while the server is stopped so your save remains available.
Yes, on paid plans. Storage is billed separately from compute, including while your server is offline.
A full month of 1 GB of storage costs about 10 credits and includes seven daily backups. Billing is based on your actual usage, not rounded up to 1 GB increments, so if you use less than 1 GB, you will pay less than 10 credits per month.
Our plans separate storage from compute because you only pay for compute while your server is running. Even when your server is offline, we still need to store your files and maintain your backups.
Creating a game server only takes a few clicks. The setup wizard guides you through choosing your game, server software, region, plan, and server name. Installation time varies depending on the game and server software.
Servers are currently available in Europe, North America, Singapore, and Australia. Choose the location closest to most of your players for the lowest latency and best experience.
You can switch between paid plans at any time. Need more resources for a big event? Simply upgrade your plan and scale back down when you no longer need the extra capacity. Moving a paid server back to the free tier is not currently supported.
